A world that once was…

Visiting  my native country, Nepal , in 2010 was the best thing to have happened to me in a long, long time.

Sharing a few moments captured while strolling the ancient streets of Patan. The Patan Durbar Square is rich with Newari Architecture and is listed  as one of the World Heritage sites.

The square always bustling with people – locals and tourist alike.

Looking at these magnificent structures, I cannot help but get transported to a world that once was…

  2. I still vividly remember my trip to Kathmandu in the early nineties…. i was with friends, we were young, free and adventurous. lovely pictures of a quaint yet culturally rich place.

  3. Wow…it’s wonderful to know you come from Nepal. It looks like Thailand a bit with the temples around. Would really love it if God will give me a trip there sometime 🙂 wishful thinking 😉
